Driven with a Passion for Costa Rica
Our company was started by Donielle Fish, an experienced traveler who has a long background in the hospitality industry. Her love for travel and the Spanish language originally brought her to Costa Rica in 2001 on a study abroad program for her undergraduate in Spanish at the University of Costa Rica.
Originally from Kansas City, Donielle left Toto and the red slippers left behind to embrace the experience of living in beautiful Costa Rica. She has lived in the Central Valley of San Jose, the beach town of Jaco, and has now happily resided in Manuel Antonio for the past 10 years. She has traveled the country from North to South and East to West, from the most well-known routes, to the off the beaten path. Her adventures have changed her life, and she is passionate about sharing her knowledge and love for the Costa Rican culture and it’s beauty with other travelers.

Donielle Fish

Originally from Kansas, Donielle Fish has always been passionate about languages, travel, food and culture. Through her Spanish major at the University of Kansas, Donielle originally came to Central America to study at the University of Costa Rica and ended up falling in love with Costa Rica due to its quality of life, natural beauty and friendly, vibrant people. With a keen eye for detail, Donielle began working in management in the hospitality industry, where she now has over 15 years’ combined experience. From hotel management, her focus evolved into more personalized services with direct home-owner care for private luxury villas and for travelers desiring to experience the uniqueness of Costa Rica. Donielle has happily lived in Costa Rica for a total of 14 years, 9 of them spent full-time in beautiful Manuel Antonio.
As for why she has chosen to call Manuel Antonio home and operate Costa Rica First Class Villas, Donielle loves latin culture, the overwhelming natural beauty of the area and the charming balance of small town Costa Rica simplicity mixed with the accessibility to modern day amenities. Donielle’s vision is to share a piece of what she loves about this country through the travel experiences and services that her company offers.
